Every step leaves a trail · A world of small journeys

The Living Colony

A future gathering of Ant Trail journeys across Azeroth. For now, explore a fictional sample colony. These animated ants are fictional, not player locations. Real participation will be voluntary, delayed, and anonymous.

A living landscape

One world. Many roads.

Eventually, participating players will contribute approved, coarse location information from their own Ant Trail histories. Small groups of ants will be represented on this map, organized by Colony where the records support it.

We will not scan other players, reveal character names, or expose exact coordinates or real-time movements.

Your trail belongs to you

Sharing is a separate choice.

Installing the addon, creating a website account, and privately uploading a Trail will not put an ant on this map.

Public participation will require explicit per-character consent, and a player must be able to withdraw it. The network will only publish delayed, privacy-filtered groups when enough people have opted in.
